RNC not welcome

I will continue to call it "Philthydelphia" but it really isn't a bad city. Having said that, I really hate being in a city when it is hot and super-humid. If I were a multi-millionaire I would have a city place and a country place.

Having said all that, Cate and I did find a bar called Cafe Monk's that was a Belgian beer bar... my favorite. They also had about 20 good scotches on hand. We met Elliotte, the bartender and had some amazingly good beers. The other item of note is all the flyers around town referring to the RNC Not Welcome campaign. This campaign is great in its artwork, if nothing else. Go to the website and click on "flyers and graphics" - that is a taste of what is plastered all over town... except the ones here are not on the website, they're local versions. I think I will take some photos of them tomorrow if its not raining - I think squishy, in particular, will love some of the home-grown artwork here. I sure do like them.

Tomorrow night the game. We found out that Manchester United stayed here the other night (Yuch!!) - maybe Chelsea will stay here tomorrow night - woo!
